About the /time Generator
The /time generator changes or queries the in-game clock (day, noon, night, midnight) or adds game ticks to advance time.
How to Use This Generator
- Select action: set, add, or query.
- Choose preset (day, noon, night, midnight) or input tick value (0 to 24000).
- Copy and run in chat.
Parameters & Options Explained
Action
set (sets exact clock), add (advances clock), query (checks day/time).
Value
Clock ticks (0 = 6:00 AM dawn, 6000 = noon, 13000 = dusk, 18000 = midnight).
Practical In-Game Example
Tested & Validated/time set dayResets the world clock to dawn (1,000 ticks), making it bright daylight.
Java vs Bedrock Compatibility
Java Edition:Accepts day, night, noon, midnight, or raw tick counts.
Bedrock Edition:Accepts identical presets and tick values.
Important Limitations & Rules
- Advancing time with /time add does not skip daylight cycle if doDaylightCycle is false.
- Sleeping in a bed in multiplayer resets time to morning automatically.
