About the /bossbar Generator

The /bossbar generator creates and controls custom boss health bars at the top of the HUD for custom boss fights, raid trackers, and quest progress meters.

How to Use This Generator

Add a new bossbar ID and display title.
Assign players who can see the bar (e.g. @a).
Set color, style, max value, and current progress value.
Copy and run in chat or command blocks.

Parameters & Options Explained

Bossbar ID

Namespaced identifier (e.g. custom:boss_health).

Display Name

Formatted title text displayed above the bar.

Value / Max

Numerical progress filling the health bar.

Practical In-Game Example

Tested & Validated

/bossbar set custom:raid value 75

Updates the progress of the custom raid bossbar to 75%.

Java vs Bedrock Compatibility

Java Edition:Full native support in Java Edition.

Bedrock Edition:Bedrock does not support the /bossbar command; Bedrock requires behavior pack boss overlays.

Important Limitations & Rules

Exclusive to Java Edition.
Bossbars are invisible until players are explicitly assigned with /bossbar set <id> players @a.
