About the /summon Generator
The /summon generator creates commands to spawn mobs, armor stands, display entities, falling blocks, projectiles, and primed TNT with customizable positions, AI settings, names, and passenger riding stacks.
How to Use This Generator
- Select the Entity ID to spawn from the autocomplete catalog (e.g. minecraft:zombie, armor_stand).
- Set the X, Y, Z coordinates or use relative offsets (~ ~1 ~ to spawn safely above ground).
- Configure entity tags such as NoAI, baby variants, or custom display names.
- Toggle the platform selector to adjust between Java NBT and Bedrock spawn events.
- Copy the output and paste into your chat bar or command block.
Parameters & Options Explained
The lowercase namespaced identifier of the entity to spawn (e.g., minecraft:creeper, skeleton, villager).
The 3D world coordinates. Using ~ ~ ~ spawns at your exact position, while ~ ~1 ~ spawns one block higher to prevent suffocation in the floor.

Built-in Bedrock event triggers like minecraft:as_baby or minecraft:become_charged.

Important Limitations & Rules
- Spawning mobs directly inside solid blocks causes them to suffocate immediately.
- Player entities cannot be summoned using /summon.
- Bedrock Edition cannot stack multiple riding mobs via /summon alone.
