Minecraft God Chestplate Command

Gives a player a Netherite Chestplate with Protection level 255 and Thorns 10, rendering the wearer practically invincible.

Version Compatibility

Command Syntax

Java Edition/give <targets> netherite_chestplate[enchantments={levels:{"minecraft:protection":255,"minecraft:unbreaking":255,"minecraft:mending":1,"minecraft:thorns":10}}] [<count>]
Bedrock Edition/give <player> netherite_chestplate [amount]

Arguments Explained

targets/playerSelector / Player NameRequired

Who to give the God Chestplate to.

count/amountInteger

The number of chestplates to give. Defaults to 1.

Practical Examples

/give @p netherite_chestplate[enchantments={levels:{"minecraft:protection":255,"minecraft:unbreaking":255,"minecraft:mending":1,"minecraft:thorns":10}}] 1

Java 1.20.5+: Gives nearest player the God Chestplate.

/give @p netherite_chestplate{Enchantments:[{id:"protection",lvl:255},{id:"unbreaking",lvl:255},{id:"mending",lvl:1},{id:"thorns",lvl:10}]} 1

Java 1.20.4 and below: Gives nearest player the God Chestplate.

Important Notes

Protection 255 reduces damage taken by up to 80% (the armor protection cap). Thorns 10 deals substantial rebound damage back to attackers.
