Minecraft /bossbar Command

Creates and modifies custom boss health bars at the top of the screen (e.g. for custom boss fights).

Command Syntax

Java Edition/bossbar add <id> <name> | /bossbar set <id> <option> <value> | /bossbar remove <id>

Arguments Explained

Unique namespace ID for the custom boss bar.

nameJSON Text

Display name of the boss bar (e.g. {"text":"King Slime"}).

Practical Examples

/bossbar add raid_tracker "Raid Defense"

Creates a custom boss bar with the display title "Raid Defense".

/bossbar set raid_tracker players @a

Makes the boss bar visible to all online players.

/bossbar set raid_tracker value 50

Sets the fill amount of the boss bar to 50%.
